Breakfast, lunch & dinner
Hippie Fish is the kind of place where you can arrive in the morning and easily stay much longer than planned. Start with breakfast by the sea, stop for lunch after a walk on the beach or settle in for dinner as the light changes over the North Sea.
The menu is broad enough for different moments of the day. In the morning you can expect dishes such as yoghurt bowls, pancakes and eggs. Around lunch there are sandwiches, salads and bowls, while the evening menu moves towards fish, tuna steak, sea bass, burgers, curries and vegetarian dishes. Cocktails, wines and beers make it just as suitable for an afternoon drink or a sunset stop.
Beach atmosphere
One of the main reasons to choose Hippie Fish is the atmosphere. The restaurant combines a large beach terrace with warm, natural interiors and plenty of relaxed seating. On cooler spring days the indoor area and fireplace make it a comfortable choice, while sunny days are all about sitting outside with the beach only a few steps away.
Because Hippie Fish is popular on sunny days and weekends, booking in advance is recommended if you are planning lunch or dinner at a specific time.
Opening hours
Hippie Fish currently lists opening hours from 09:00 to 00:00, Monday to Sunday. Beach venues can adjust their hours according to season, weather or events, so check the restaurant’s own booking page shortly before travelling.
Address
Boulevard Paulus Loot 3, 2042 AD Zandvoort, Netherlands
The restaurant sits directly on the southern part of Zandvoort beach and is easy to combine with a walk along the shoreline or through the nearby dunes.
Reserve a table
For weekends, sunny spring days and dinner around sunset, reserving a table is a good idea. Use Hippie Fish’s own booking page for the latest availability.
Combine Keukenhof with Zandvoort Beach
A visit to Hippie Fish works especially well at the end of a day in the flower region. Visit Keukenhof and the Dutch flower fields first, then continue to Zandvoort for a walk on the beach and finish with drinks or dinner overlooking the North Sea.
Driving from Keukenhof to Zandvoort normally takes around 35–45 minutes, depending on traffic. Allow extra time on sunny weekends and public holidays.
