Relax, eat and enjoy the Dutch coast
NIUS Beach House is a year-round beach pavilion on the south side of Zandvoort. It combines a relaxed beach-house atmosphere with food and drinks throughout the day, so you can stop for coffee after a beach walk, have lunch in the sun, enjoy drinks and bites or stay for dinner by the sea.
Because NIUS is open throughout the year, it is a particularly useful option during the Keukenhof spring season, when some other beach pavilions may still operate seasonally.
Dining at NIUS
NIUS currently serves breakfast and coffee from 09:00–12:00, lunch from 12:00–16:00, drinks and bites throughout the day and dinner from 17:00. The menus are published online and include separate breakfast/lunch, dinner, dessert and drinks & snacks cards.
A perfect stop after visiting Keukenhof
NIUS is around 35–45 minutes by car from Keukenhof, depending on traffic. This makes it easy to combine two very different Dutch landscapes in one day: flowers and gardens in the morning, followed by dunes, beach and the North Sea later in the day.

The South Boulevard is a lovely place to stay into the evening. When the weather is clear, a beach walk followed by drinks or dinner at NIUS is a relaxed way to finish a day around Keukenhof and the flower fields.

Parking

Reservations
You can reserve online for breakfast, lunch, drinks or dinner. NIUS asks groups of 10 people or more to reserve in advance.
More than a restaurant
NIUS is also used for weddings, private celebrations and company events. The beach, terrace and indoor spaces make it a flexible venue for groups that want a coastal setting close to Amsterdam and the flower region.

Keukenhof shows the Netherlands at its most colourful; Zandvoort adds dunes, sea air and a completely different landscape. Together they make a varied spring day without requiring a long detour. Our favourite order is Keukenhof first, the coast second and NIUS for the final meal of the day.
